Why does Vässla exist?

Vässla is a Swedish micro-mobility company founded in 2017 in Stockholm as a result of a major societal problem - congestion and traffic jams in cities. Our solution is to replace heavy vehicles with light two-wheelers - such as electric mopeds and e-bikes. With high quality and a clear purpose, we work for a better future and a greener urban life. We believe commuting should be easy and fun for everyone, with as little environmental impact as possible.

Why do we do what we do?

Making life easier and saving time for stressed city commuters are two of the reasons why Vässla exists, greener and better cities are another. Imagine cities built for people, not for cars! Urbanization, congestion, and pollution are the harsh realities. To get the full picture, consider the fact that a person in a car only accounts for 5% of the total weight. This means that 95% of the energy is used to move the vehicle. Even worse, when 1L of fuel goes into the tank, only 1.75 cl is used to move you, the person who actually needs to get somewhere.

High-end tech products are not an option for many, so instead we make our products accessible to more people with our new installment payment model.
